American Fork Youth Theater presents Honk Jr at Legacy Elementary on March 19, 20 and 21.
Why Honk Jr?
Honk Jr. is an adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Ugly Duckling. The story of love and acceptance. The musical is set in the countryside and features Ugly – a swan who is mistaken as an ugly duckling upon falling into his mother’s nest. Ugly is rejected by everyone except Ida (his mother), a sly tomcat who only befriends him out of hunger, and several other barnyard characters. It is a fun tale to tell – and see on stage!
