What is Pound the Pavement for Parenthood?
Pound the Pavement for Parenthood is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Utah local, Jill Witt, in effort to help Utah couples feel comfortable with sharing their story of infertility and build emotional and financial support for those pursuing treatment or adoption.
Infertility affects 1 out of 8 couples. 30% of infertility cases have been classified as female factor, 30% male factor, and 30% are classified as a combination of both female and male factor. The remaining 10% of cases, the causes are unknown. Because of the wide range of causes treatment methods are just as complex. The cost of treatments and adoption can become daunting and even hit points of $15,000.00.
Pound the Pavement for Parenthood is committed to connecting couples so they have the support they need as they endure their infertility.
Who Does the 2014 Race Benefit?
The 2014 Pound the Pavement benefits Jarid and Trisha Johnson and Tyler and Jenilee Davidson.

Participants will automatically be entered into the drawing on behalf of themselves or another of their choosing to win the treatments at the events.

Oh my gosh, that is so wonderful! I know many people give up on fertility treatment because they can’t afford it. I’m so glad to hear about this and if I were in Utah, would probably participate.
