St George Children’s Museum

The St George Children’s Museum is 3 floors of learning and fun for kids of ALL ages – even adults. The best part is the price. Technically, its’ free, but they do ask for a donation ($3 per person).

What is at the St. George Children’s Museum?

There are so many neat exhibits!

Can you believe the entrance to the castle? Inside kids dress up and sit on the throne and enjoy being a prince or princess!

Have you ever milked a cow? At the farm, kids can milk the cow and learn about other farm activities.

Kids can find out what it is like in a wheel chair. They also learn about movement and their bodies.
Fix a car at children's museum
The travel exhibit teaches about airplane travel, luggage and how to fix a car!

In addition, there are several other great exhibits! One of the best exhibits at the St George Children’s Museum is the music room. The music room is full of noise! Lots of noise.

Also check out the ice skating!

Location:

Located in the historic Community Art building at 86 South Main, the St. George Children’s Museum is beautiful.

St. George Children’s Museum is located in the center of St. George on the corner of Main Street and 100 South at 86 South Main.  From I-15, take exit 8 and drive west on St. George Blvd to Main Street.  Turn left and drive two blocks. The museum is located on the right, adjacent to Town Square.

What to know:

Hours:

  • Monday is open 2-10 pm only for those who purchase a membership.
  • Tuesday 10 am – 6 pm
  • Wednesday 10 am – 6 pm
  • Thursday 10 am – 6 pm
  • Friday 10 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday 10 am – 6 pm
  • Closed Sunday

Although adjacent to the Town Square Water Park, children must be completely dry when entering the museum. Swim Attire should be covered and shoes must be worn at all times inside the museum.

Please note that some exhibit spaces cannot accommodate strollers. However, stroller parking is available next to the museum Gift Shop.

    Our Monday admission hours have changed since March 2017. For summer seasons, the museum is open to everybody on Mondays from 10am to 6pm; and fully closed on Mondays during the months of August to February.

    Thanks for the mention! We would like to note that we do charge admission: $5 for all guests ages 2 and up. We have many discount programs, all of which can be found on our website!
